I wouldn't assume these presumably bot-created FCs were made with the intent of claiming/selling housing (Though I sure as heck wouldn't put it past them).

The gil farming process that occurs on a regular basis across several servers is likely synchronized to the point where the bots are creating their FCs needed for easy gil transfers almost simultaneously, as they're done using PCs that are running several dozen accounts at the same time using modded, interface-free clients that basically aren't doing anything but logging their characters into the game, with everything else handled by botting scripts.

Most likely gilsellers' FCs to move gil around. I think most actual people would just name it something silly if they wanted to claim a house.
And this is actually not new though, it's been consistently happening for years. :(

Can't really point fingers either, can report players, but from my experience nothing happens either.

plus they only go on sale 1 hour after server is reset to allow people to log in.

For other posters, it took me a few hours to rank an FC to 6. Maybe 1 and half days. Main slow down for me was resources, but crafting HQ and turning it in was an extremely fast way to earn FC exp.

Actually what they said IS true. They never said anything about new wards, they said housing will be available for purchase for FC's and personals that are relocating, which in fact IS TRUE. Auto demo and plot purchasing for fcs amd personal relocation starts right away when patch is live, the new wards, aren't until one week after. Relocation is added right away, only thing we are waiting for is new wards and new purchases for personals.

I’m not arguing that the mechanics are true. But the wards aren’t in for another week, and that’s the little detail. Individuals can’t buy personal houses “until further notice” but the FC’s can. If Sinister means that the individual houses , and not the individuals wanting to buy them, then yes, I misunderstood what she was saying, and it was correct. Huh, interesting. Have you guys checked the members of each FC? 20+ members with JKTANSXK-like names.

China bots everywhere, just ban the entire country from accessing other servers, problem solved.
There is actually the game where they banned china access to other servers and the amount of bots dropped by 90%, it was silkroad and phantasy star online i guess.

Do it, just do it SE, ban them all and move them to their own server.

This isn't new honestly, back before Balmung was locked I used to see most bot clusters in similar FC's - though for what benefit I'm unsure of unless some of their scripting required it. I don't think they're being created to take advantage of the housing situation so much as just another ring of botters trying to make a quick gil now that the latest patch is out.

It is and yet again, SE makes the stupid mistake of saying something about housing when they should've just waited until the very day of the patch to release all information. Ever since the day of the live letter when they said FC would get first pick, people been breaking off from their FC's and making their own, grabbing 3 random people or friends so they can grab up a house. RMT are doing the same and no doubt, in comes the house flipping. SE/Yoshi really thought this whole thing out!... /sarcasm
yet another band aid fix that does nothing but punishes the player base ._.
