Glamour dresser red flag

I agree with the OP. Limited space is ok, permanent transformation to a glamour is ok, BUT NOT BOTH.

He did actually say this. I remember it being a very common concern, and he was clear that things could not be used while in the dresser, but that they COULD be taken out and used. I'd sure like to know what happened to that, whether he might have been misinformed or if the notes are just wrong. I can tell you if you really cant take things out of the dresser, I probably wont really use it. I've already got my retainers for glamour sorted out, I'll probably just stick with the current system.

On the contrary, I would suggest putting only rarely used things in the dresser because we can only use 50 armor items out of the potential 200 at any one time. (10 ensembles * 5 left side items = 50 items)

If someone intends to glam all jobs differently then having all their favorite gear in the dresser is going to be a problem.

In any case, I had a feeling that this was going to be the case and am still fine with it since I have about a hundred glam items just taking up space in my armory chest and retainers combined. Why would I want to equip a glam rather than use it for appearance's sake, on one hand? No, my concern is where the patch notes say some gear cannot be sent to the dresser; it would suck if I thought I was getting back pages of retainer space only to discover that I'm opening all of three slots in total (just an extreme, unlikely example).

Even if the space were available for that, you're limited to 10 glamour plates with 15 jobs (26 with crafting and gathering classes).

I'm jealous of people who think they can go beyond the 200 item limit so easily.

If you're worried about the fashion mini game then just glamour directly, or don't play that mini game.

It's not even about reaching the limit of 200 though, what if I just want that item again to glamour to my retainer, or to carry around to glamour. Now I can't have that item.

Get it again, or don't put it in the dresser.

Which is viable for items that push upwards of a million or more? Because I have a few of those and since I make money fairly slowly it'll be awhile before I can safely afford them without decimating my wallet.
