I haven't expected a miracle as well... but I expected told aoe-nerfs actually as aoe nerfs and not as main-burst/filler single target nerfs... - to be honest I can't decide whats more of a joke... smns nerfs or blms buffs tho : /

Y'all haven't been reading Reddit if you thought SMN was getting any buff, because they've translated that stuff to full and revealed that what YoshiP said really low under his breath was "nerf".

In either case, rip casters.

its like one of the devs was like "okay we take those 2x -10 single target-pots from smn and add them on a single Blm skil. this way everybody gets what he deserves – caster balance done! gimme the bong its my turn now" q.q ...its so sad knowing that Blm is Yoshis cls as well - I just can't understand why caster in generell won't get a bit more love in detail... at all.

wow, the nerf for smn is a damn joke, especially the tri-bind nerf is hurt, we only have 30 second to spam that spell in every 2 damn minutes and they decide to nerf it? that is, an other month of hiatus until 4.2.5 come out, atleast i have monster hunter world to keep me busy

even more weird because we just got it with 4.1 to be useful... making it kinda unuseful again with 4.2 - whats the deal in this action...?

It's oftenly common for players to not know how BLM works because its a weird job. Guess the Balancement Team doesn't know either.

Well i thought so too, since they rarely revamp, so nothing much to expect. But then, they also went crazy (in the good sense) by doing everything recommanded in the housing section to prevent abuse (I mean including a limited time of personal purchase restriction to allow FC). When I saw the ppt I was like "damn so SE IS able to strike hard and implement SEVERAL recommandations all at once, so maybe there's hope for jobs !"

Alas...only job heavily modified is War, who never asked for anything cause they felt perfectly fine. Like wtf ?

I wasn't expecting a buff but SE said it was an AoE nerf and that single target would remain the same. All of this after the initial release really blew as far as SMN AoE damage was concerted and was fixed in 4.1. Now it looks like we are more or less back where we started.

yeah that was my first thought as well... "...have i missed anything here...?" o.o

I am just curious now with only Fire4 getting a potency buff. Is it now worth using BLizzard4 just to get the Umbral Hearts at all or just go: B3 - T3 - Foul - F3, leaving out the time to cast B4 for more Astral Fire uptime etc.
Or does the Umbral Hearts' lower MP on first 3 F4 allow more Astral uptime?
