HQ gears

I like the idea of added stats, but wouldn't this fall into conflict with the materia system? Unless it was a stat you could not obtain via melding (for example, getting +DEX on a body equipment, which cannot be achieved via materia currently).

Not really. I mean, think about it, the only people who would get anything out of trying to +1 their armor at the moment are tanks, and even then it's probably miniscule. HQ armor does jack shit for anyone else, so SE might as well have removed it entirely for all it matters at the moment. . .
