Funny how people feel adressed who weren't OP's target. You guys get offended way too easy. He said it from the beginning it's half a joke thread...take it as such. When it comes down to it though he is right. It's disgusting to see houses cluttered with random stuff no love given into design whatsoever while there are others out there who didn't get the chance to own a house (choose your reasons why this is not the place to discuss this) with either the same idiotic taste or actually cool ideas that can't be brought up. Take an educated guess and you realize he was not talking to or about new house owners who didn't even have had a week to act. What he's trying to say, I assume, is that if you got a house at least put effort into decorating it instead of just roleplaying you're a compulsive hoarder....or a minimalist for that matter.

I suggest OP to clearly label this thread as a RANT thread. The way the content was written felt slightly offensive and demanding, rather than jokingly at all in a regards.

The sad reality is that I'm pretty sure the majority of people who bought their houses aren't really that interested in them that much, and just bought them because they had the money and "why not?". When you think about it though, housing still remains a small portion of what this game is about. So it's not that big of a deal. However, it's still kinda painful to walk around and see so many houses with not even a mini aetheryte on them. ._.

This is exactly how I feel. I have so many neighbors who left their house undecorated, and I've never seen them there once. I'm at my house ALL the time and constantly redecorating, it's what I do for fun.
