This is a half joke thread so before getting worked up keep that in mind...

If you have a house decorate the damn thing... and if you decorate it make it look good... so many houses (when not totally empty) are just cluttered junk piles full of flashy items with no rhyme or reason to their placement... have a theme in mind or something... I've seen some really nice ones with some very creative use of items but they are the very small minority...

Yes I'm aware some people have just spent everything they had on a house... I'm talking about those who've had houses since the last housing increase and before... do something with your property or let someone else have it who will... they are houses not junk barns...

I want to have HOA wards where you can't use gaudy outer walls like chocobo and paissa. The decorations in the yard I feel more lax about.. they aren't the things blocking my view. But the huge chocobo medium house directly next to mine makes me want to die anytime I see it. It just looks like a giant pimple. It's disgusting.

New home owners are one thing... nothing looks good til you get settled in... but long time owners with junked up houses are just eww... next we will have people with broken down chocobos on blocks in their yards....

To be honest, people can do whatever they want with their houses lol. Patch 4.1 just got released, and not everyone can instantly purchase already made items in addition to spending all day decorating their houses. Let people enjoy their patch content and decorate their houses in time.

Empty houses hold by smurf/shell alts are more concerning to me, however.

.. if I could have an outdoor furniture of a chocobo on cinderblocks.. that would be ALL I PUT in my yard. like 20 of them.

To be fair, there are some people who purposely troll. On Cactuar, the small across from the large at plot 7 has five giant heads pointing directly at said large. I have no doubt whoever owns the small is salty.
