[Request] Allow Players Toggle Mount Speeds

Don't listen to creeps' advices to see a doctor, motion sickness caused while riding so fast is real, it struck me at first but now I have grown used to it for the most part, there are still some places where it can make me disoriented like the East Shroud!...

I don't think it would pose too much of a burden for the developers to add a general mount action to increase and decrease the riding speed, they surely know about Epona in The Legend of Zelda and how the carrot system worked, I cannot think of anything simpler, it's important that they allow us to do that while mounted so it will be fun while letting us ride fast in case of need, i.e. when hasting after an S rank hunt mark!...

So people saying see a doctor for a possible health issue are creeps? Ok then.

ARR areas make me dizzy at the new speed so I've stopped buying the upgrades. "Doctor, I need meds so I can play this one video game where a fast horse makes me queasy" is overkill imo. A speed toggle would be great :c

I was thinking something like setting it on the options menu where we have the mount speed. You know, like if you buy the upgrade, you have two stars, but you can click them and select if they're off or on. However just a simple button click to increase or decrease would probably be easier to implement and get the job done!

Yeah. Literally the only game that does it (I'm fine with Mirror's Edge) and only with the mount speed increase. Not worth wasting a doctor's time over. Now, if I was like my friend who can't even play a 3rd person game due to motion sickness, that needs a doctor

Yes, it's very real, that's why medicine exists. I can't literally drive anything without my meds, that's why I recommended them. There's absolutely nothing wrong looking for a doctor to cope with it because it's something truly horrible.

But you don't see me asking the devs to change a whole game just because I got dizzy.

i don't get dizzy and i want a speed toggle too.

enjoying a ride on my mount is much nicer with a slower speed, but when i actually want to get somewhere a faster speed is better.

so making it able to toggle between slow / fast / super fast would be awesome. i now only have super slow (walking) and super fast (running) on my mount.

Did I say to change the whole game? No. It is a simple request for toggled speeds. This way, those who like the faster can stick with it, and the other people can turn it down.

Mountain out of a mole hill, people. I'm not asking them to drastically alter the game or take away your increased speed. I am asking for a compromise.
