Even if you meet the min. iLv. requirement, the game should prompt you if you have at least one gear under the required iLv. Even if you do get someone who does meet the iLv., you also have to worry about the people who don't repair their gear. That's even worse than people who have less iLv. gear since broken stuff won't give you the stats.

I've run into multiple trolls/dumb people who were wearing only glamour gear in the leveling roulette, so I'd love if they imposed a min ilvl on all dungeons, not just the final dungeon/trial of each expansion and the content released afterward.

Until SE teaches nubs to NOT wear certain gear as I've ran into new players wearing gathering or crafting gear in dungeons and think its okay, then it wont be fixed. no where do they explain oh hey you need to upgrade that or have the right gear on for this. Also if i get one of the 3 starter dungeons for leveling roulette and i happen to have a said "glamour" outfit that gives stats and exp gain for wearing all 3 pieces i will wear the heck out of that and still do my job, because first 3 dungeons and the stats really don't matter anyway.

I don't see how this system could be a bad thing. It'll teach newbies to use proper gear for their job and forcing an ilvl check on all gear will stop newbies from using lower ilvl weapons which is the most important slot to have up to date. If you ask in /shout or novice network I'm sure someone is willing to buy or craft you some gear.

People who don't give a shit wont suddenly start if they are forced into doing so, they will just find the path of least resistance and keep on keeping on.
