I came to say the same thing basically. You are giving a PSA to people, where the people that need it are unlikely to come to the forums. I really be shocked if someone that does not put the effort in gearing properly will come to the forums. SE needs to make better gear gating, that is the only way to fix this.

People used to do it on everything, expert, the 24 raids, of course you can't do it in SB anymore due to the role locking but yes people do it everywhere. It is possible people will still use the 270 stuff to bypass ilevel requirements but who knows.

They come to the forums all the time. They ask for nerfs, they cry foul on people who try saying they are elitists and complain when they get booted out of dungeons for this very thing. They sadface about how poorly they are treated and make even more threads about how its there sub not yours. So they do come here, in droves.

lol memories of early ARR, people wearing full crafter sets into dungeons for spiritbond purposes, when gear conversion was pretty much the only way to get materia and the difference between enemy level and gear level didn't have much impact on speed of bonding at that time. also spiritbond parties at urth's fount farming the water sprites, again with full craft/field gear apart from a weapon.

No they don't, I think people would refer to them as midcore. The people that this thread is directed at do not come on the forums. It is simple as analyzing personality. If someone is coming here looking for advice or comment on anything, that shows they have some basics down and put in some effort in the game. For people that wear the wrong gear and trying shortcut, you really think they come here at all?
