As a new player that really likes this game ...

Oh, one thing I forgot. Farming parties. ABSOLUTE CANCER. Personal loot > this crap.

The more I think about it the more I miss WoW ...

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for or how you're missing all the content. Did you actually level a character to 70 or did you jump potion? I've been playing for years and I have so much to do on here I'll be entertained for years to come. Raids are just a part of FFXIV and not the biggest part by far.
As to chat bubbles, I'm hoping they don't get added, but if they do hopefully there will be a way to turn them off.

But I assume Valkyrie was referring to WoW still being there if he misses it so much.

I lvled from 1 to 70, no potions. I mean endgame content.

I think the difference between raids and trials has to do with story progression. Trials are independent combat instances where as 8 man raids are sequential combat instances. I kind of like the idea that the 8 man raids aren't all chained together inside a single instance as it allows me to run them when I have time and have to worry about reset timers and all of that junk. I also disagree on the MSQ as far as how integral to the game it is. However I would prefer less fetch this, kill that quests and more inline instanced content. The rest I pretty much agree with especially the cross server chat function when trying to find a party in PF.

So you just level one job? No crafts? Not working on a relic weapon? just lvl 1 job and do raids? Don't help new people get stuff done? I'd be bored too in that case. I'm not unhappy with the game, I like it quiete a lot. But that doesnt mean there are no negatives to it, which are the ones I pointed out. And no, I dont like playing with alts, nor proffesions. Relic weapons are just cosmetic, dont care. I play for the endgame content and the satisfaction of clearing it when its relevant.

I think this game just lacks the hardcore pve community WoW has, I can't imagine a WoW expansion launching without a proper raid with no one complaining ...
