If the tank apologised I'd have been fine with it. Stuff like this happens. He messed up, sometimes I mess up too, we all mess up. No one is perfect. I have had mass pulls go wrong, the tank apologise afterwards, I say it's okay we can just try again or go slower, and we do the rest of the instance just fine. I'm not a diva who will leave the second I see the tank is less than excellent. I just want to do a dungeon without being expected to do the impossible.Quote:

Sprint on CD is too good, especially as tank/SAM. Cuts out so much travel time. -

To be honest, it sounds like you're just an awful healer. When I get into a dungeon, I expect everyone to be ready to go. I still personally wait for protect, but once I see that I'm sprinting and I'm going. I just want dungeons to take as little time as possible. If you seriously couldn't reach the tank after them having time to pull a bunch of stuff, and go through their invuln CD, you were doing something wrong. Please be more flexible in parties. If you see the tank immediately start sprinting just stop typing and start following them immediately with sprint up yourself.

I've carried basically every EX run I've been a part of since SB dropped, yes. I don't mind working hard for a pull, I do mind blowing literally everything on a tank who doesn't use defensives/is undergeared but pulls like they aren't.

I mean, I might pop Sprint to grab some additional mobs and kite a little so the damage doesn't rack up too hard before we're all in place, but I always make sure I'm being followed first. And for the most part I like to save it for fights, 'cause it's more useful to dodge AOEs/mechanics.

Tanks are a bit too used to if they are far ahead of the party the healer can sprint to catch-up.
Tanks need to start learning that if there's a gap between them and the healer and they pop sprint now. That gap isn't going away.
If a tank pulls big he needs to make sure the healer is right behind him. The point of pulling big isn't just to pull big, it's to kill faster.
If because the tank sprints ahead and the healer barely catches up and has to pop every cooldown just to save the tank from Living dead and is going to be stuck cure bombing for the rest of the fight without even the smallest opportunity to do any AoE DPS himself...the tank is slowing down the run by trying to be sonic the hedgehog.
I'm not even saying that the tank shouldn't be pig pulling, in fact he should, but for example Scholar can essentially apply all of their AoE DoTs and AoE DPS while moving DURING the pull (with just 1 GCD to cast Miasma). If the tank is half the dungeon in front of the healer and the DPS out of their attack range because he popped sprint what's the point...
It's the same thing with those that sprint off right when the gate drops before they get protect. "Oh they can just protect me while I'm fighting" Yes, and because of that you've just lost some 500-1,000 potency damage because the healer is now casting protect instead of DPSing the monsters and depending on the size of the pull likely won't be able to for the rest of the fight because he now has to heal the damage you took from not having protect... -

Sprinting while gathering adds minimized the auto attack damage they take, meaning they aren't starting at 50% health when they have everything gathered.
Type while auto-running. Easy.
