I was actually hoping it would be like that when they first announced the totems. The group kills Ifrit, every single party member with the inferno lamp get 1 totem. And it requires a few totems (5~15) to get a weapon.
The way it is now, it is just grind again. I understand they are trying to keep the hardcore players with things to do, but I don't think adding such grind is the thing to do because it is very discouraging for the common players. Now that achievements are here, the hardcore players already have plenty of grinding to do to keep them occupied, can we get a 100% totem drop? :D
100% drop? Considering the totems can be passed, make it about 40-50 totems per weapon and I'm on board.
EDIT: Actually... not even sure if 405- is enough. More, I would say.
i find it sad that people actually want to repeat a fight 20-30 times on purpose. this isnt something like Dynamis where you can get/do different things per event, and you can obtain multiple different things in that 1 event....this is just a fight with 1 monster over and over.
kind of pathetic they need to stretch these kind of events this much. And it seems like for quite some time, the big endgame events are going to be fighting different versions of these fights and lvl 25+ and 45+ dungeons until 2.0
Agree 100% drop on token and have the item buyable from an NPC.
20 tokens is enough and make them non tradeable.
This way you have to do the fight 20 times to get a weapon.
I agree 100%. Our effort goes un-rewarded with the current drop system.
