Depends on the datacenter/world you are on it seems.
For me this community has been a ton better then my experience in WoW.
i'm on louisoix also and multiple classes to level, just add me if you want palaces without kicks :)
Wow, move to Leviathan. I've had no problems like you've described thus far, and I've been playing a while. I have a linkshell just for helping new people. There are a lot of nice people around.
Once in a while I run into someone who insists upon blazing through a new dungeon that most don't know, I've found it best to let them die. That usually calms them down for the run or they leave and we get someone less pushy.
I had an arse in Susano fight for doing an LB on DPS when it was like at 10-ish percent, it didn't dawn on me most of the party was dead.
It's the duty finder that makes people this way. Sure butthats exist anywhere but I played XI for years and didn't run into half the rude people there. Without a duty finder it takes more time to get content flowing though.
With great power comes great responsibility. This is how the game was built, but like others said, go with premade groups with like minds if it bothers you a bunch.
i think so, i have enter a mid level (i.e. ~55/65 cant remember exactly) once
but the chance of getting the intended JIP party is slime, even it say the average queue is less than 5 minute, I never get a queue more than 1 minute, it become extreme difficult to manipulate the queue to kick someone and get a friend in
You must be the most unlucky person out there. You seem to suffer thing I haven't seen or heard about.
You don't seem to be too nice either :/ so I would like to see the way you are treating those "jerks"
no offense, but how would ff 16 fix that? You still would have to deal with people, unless it's a offline single player.
But let me put it this way, while the player base/community has seen lots of changes, throughout the years, there's always the "black" sheeps on every server/data center/FC even on the forums, and while it's frustrating at times, not all of us are like that.
It doesn't reflect the majority of the player base. I know you will think, that this is just one of these, polite stereotypical answers you'll get, but not the truth. And that's fine, I am not offended, but having played this game several years on different servers, I have to say, that in most cases you find a lot of people that are actually nice/helpful and making the game a bit more entertaining.
However, raiding or fc's in general, in my personal opinion is a total different isle and I would be damned to say, that I am looking forward of being a part of that. I play the game mostly "solo", dungeons/trials and even raid content, I won't join a party finder/raid finder/static anymore, I get that done via duty finder, and to be honest, I did find amazing cross server friends, that have the same mindset etc.
I think, that if you don't keep or pick up a somewhat hostile attitude towards other players, that even in your case you'll be able to enjoy the game with "people". And if it's just duty finder, at least you're not getting close to these people, or find yourself in a situation were you are forced to participate in activities you might not enjoy. I wish you luck.
