Plenary Indulgence was THIS close to being good.

Extra splash healing after I drop medica 2 on my team when I know they're about to get whacked? For free? Yes, please. Could it have been 'better'? Of course. Stuff can always be 'better'. The point with PI is that now it will actually get a spot on my bar, whereas before I had no interest in it. To each their own, though.

This is more the 10s duration that obligates you to use it right after your aoe.

This isn't about trying to have 3 stacks absolutely. It's actually having to use it because it's only 10s or it'll vanished and will be useless.

To be worth using, savage must have some heavy aoe damage.
Just like Rawrz said, it could have been a great skill in A11s and i totally agree, especially because during one twister, you had to move because of lasers.

So, we are waiting to see something similar in omega to make PI shine.

Also, Cure III + 150 potency confession = almost the same as Cure II (most potent healing spell) on the party. Other than that, like before, it's just a free heal that you have the option of using instead of gambling on another heal fitting in time or costing extra MP.

Well, at least I'll probably use it now. Nice little top-off after hitting the bigger heals or something. I'm just disappointed that instead of getting something epic and awesome as our last skill we got a dinky little heal. I mean yeah, free heals are great. But we already have tons and tons and tons of heals... did we really need another? Why not give us a Holy II or even something cool like calling up Earth, Wind, and Water together to make a potent, short-duration heal/shield/resource refresh?

Actually isn't that a common requirement? A3S was particularly bad about it with Splash but even A7S had its lightning AoE spam. Come to think of it Alexander Prime had that final phase back-to-back AoE stuff after the DPS run-around bit as well.

Plenary Indulgence is basically either a free mini-Medica chaser after you cast Medica or Medica II, or a full free Medica if you cast Medica II and then Medica (which is quite common in savage instances). That's useful, and as seems to be the trend of the class quite mana efficient. It will probably go a long way when looking to single-heal encounters a few months down the road as well.

I wonder if people would be less sour if it was like this from the start?

At least they are removing all the RNG garbage.

Like honestly, who thought putting RNG in basic healer function was a good idea?

This is how I picture using PI as well, I'm glad somebody see's this.

If you need 3 AoE heals in a row, use it instead of the third. That makes way more sense. It's there to make your throughput more efficient in the moment, not to be stockpiled when you need it later. There are plenty of situations where it'll save you a Medica if you use it.

Preach Tonberry, preach. White Mage is a dead stick and I'm frankly tired of yelling at Square Enix to fix it when they lack the talent or desire to do so.

Disappointing that they reduced the confession duration. It's still not really a thing you can save and build stacks of. They may as well have just deleted it and given us a skill that increases the potency of our next Medica/Medica2/Cure3, because you're never not just going to pop it right after one of those.
