The 22 GP over 700 is more useful than it sounds, as it allows an extra 2 of the rng HQ rolls every node. If you didn't go for this you'd save quite a bit on melds.

I've tried to meet requirements without ovemelds and using food only, but sadly it is not possible.

My DoL melds.
