I've been separated from my friends without any notice

Did you have forehand knowledge that your FC was moving? If so why did you not transfer when it first opened up? Cause it looks like you trying to blame SE for your procrastination.

Paladinleeds, thanks for your point, but I don't think that's the case. Else they would have blocked character creations as well. It doesn't make any sense for them to block transfers with the reason of "too crowded" while turning around and allow people to make new chars without any limitation for TEN days, just so they can get free days bonus on their account...

Also I don't think an 24 hours window of notice would make such a drastic change but I guess we will never know..

I agree with the OP that this is nonsense and unfair.

For now their trying to balance out congestion do to the other servers and problems. Eventually it will become an option once things have become stable, less people in, ect. Come on it's a new release and it's to be expected. people can create parties on party finder and play together. use vent to communicate ect.

If what you say is true and I just need to wait until SE thinks it's okay to allow transfers again, how long will the waiting be when they still allow character creation?

If anything, it just makes things more congested! Which is pretty much my main complaint (even though a 24 hour notice would have been fair IMO but let's say not putting a notice is also fine...)

Again, it'd somehow be okay and make more sense to block EVERYONE so the crowd actually gets balanced. But right now each day that passes when character creation is allowed- Just pushes me away from my friends and FC longer than I should have waited if they actually wanted to... balance the crowd and therefore block EVERYONE (transfers AND creations)...

That's why it makes me so worried.

Well creating will be out of the question, transfers seems the only reasonable thing. I give it at a minimum 6 months based on what happen with HW.

They went on vacation... I think it is perfectly understandable to be upset at SE locking down the server from transfers without any warning and while still allowing people to create new characters. It's silly.

As of 1pm pdt the server is listed as closed to new characters also. But I already stated my point so have a nice day.
