If it honestly would take you 2 weeks to download 16 GB, then there's no way you could play the game normally anyway. Your internet is way, way too slow to have a reasonable experience in-game.

Best to either upgrade your ISP or move to console/single player games.

EDIT: Btw, if you already have HW, it's only 6 GB for Stormblood.

I have the fastest speed that my isp offers, and I have been playing with no problems, so your suggestion to only play single player games is irrelevant. and I have had no problems playing before, so whatever.

Then it wouldn't take you two weeks to download 16 GB. If you can play effectively, then you are being hyperbolic about how long it will take you. And again, if you've been playing HW, it's only 6 GB for Stormblood.

And I didn't say upgrade your package with your ISP, I said get a new ISP. Where do you live? Perhaps I could suggest some options.

In any case, it's not SE's fault that you have crappy internet, and MMOs never come with the full game on disc. You always have to download something.

The game itself doesn't require that much bandwidth. Around 10-20 Mb per hour, which would be around 480MB tops for 24 hours of continuous play. I don't think they play that much, so the game should run just fine :3

Could take a flash drive and download it at an internet café.

??? I missed the part where OP was blaming SE for his Internet connection, calm down with the white knighting, OP is just venting his frustration.

You don't need a big bandwidth to play the game, you just need a stable ping, this game transfers maybe 60-70KB per second which is nothing.

@OP if you have a laptop or a friend with a laptop try going to any place with free wi-fi, download the game and store it in an USB stick.

How does it feel knowing you bought a piece of paper with some words on it for $40 dollars?
