Server Queue Times - What is Being Done?

the queue times are much better today.

yesterday I was 2300 in queue

today its 130

my 5 hours wait to relog after a quest bug forcing me to crash the client would lead me to think that kicking afk players doesn't do anything in regard to congestion.

I wish mine was xD Nearly two hours in and I have gone from just over 2400 to 803 to get in

With regards to the kicking after 30 mins afk you can as I say easily get around that. After all the game can only kick you if it registers you as afk but if you were to say have you character constantly moving or engaged in looking at something with an option menu then it can't register you as AFK and thus lies a problem - kicking people who go afk for 30 minutes just doesn't work when the number being kicked is less than the number trying to get in.

And that is a problem that the community created itself and can solve.

This was my plan, "I can't do content because the server is too congested? Guess I'll log off and do it later"

Is it something that could have been avoided? Sure. Does screaming about it and kicking up a fuss make the fix come any faster? No. Are the devs doing everything they can? I can almost guarantee it.

I agree with your sentiment about selfish entitled players, the community needs to collectively grow up and get a grip, a stable expansion launch is stressful enough for the devs as it is, let alone the community screaming about the problems that the devs are already running around trying to deal with

So far nothing is being done. Lost connection in a dungeon 3 times today and every time i had a 3000 ppl+ queue. If this continues I'll just have to stop playing until SE fixes their stuff.
They could at least let you back in a duty if you have been kicked from the server while in a duty.
So today i spend over 10 hours in queue what a great experience this expansion has been so far.
They should stop calling it a early access and start calling it for what it is. A server stress test!

grace period should be a thing , waiting 1-2h , play for a while and d/c and having to wait AGAIN is insane...if u d/c on saturday np , but do it on wednsday when u only have 1h-2h to play no chance in hell to even play that night
