M'y only regret is that WHM and AST don't have holy and gravity.
With a 30-45sec CD. They could have been fun spells.
Aoe stun for holy
Aoe slow+heavy for gravity.
I don't like the new changes. It feels like my toolset is so limited now. As in every battle just becomes like 2 outcomes. Before I had all these options of various CC or how to do the burst, how to chase, and how to escape. Now it's all just flattened into a few buttons. Sure I still can go ham and get a bunch of kills/damage, but it's not satisfying anymore.
I dislike the new changes. I don't mind it being easier but Jeez I don't even have a full hotbar of abilities I feel so gimped..

At worst, its a move in the right direction. Mostly played Samurai as a finisher medal hoarder and Astrologian. All feast training 8v8s. Ill have to feel out the other healers before I pickup an opinion. Tho PVP synastry is really handy for keeping the main focus target alive. Hit the tank/medal hoard with it and just heal almost anything else.
Edit: Yes, so far I like the new PVP better than the old one. Now if we can lose 72s and get 48s back ill be super happy.
Tried frontlines once yesterday on SMN. It feels really weird... but also awesome how people run when they see bahamut coming toward them @@;
The most jarring things are how your not using any other summons, placement of the skills on the hotbar and bio uses a huge amount of MP >< I need to change which additional skills I take in. I highly recommend people go to Wolf's pier first to test things out on the training dummies and fix their cross bars.
Which is an improvement imo. Managing the stupid pets in pvp was the worst, constantly having to put them on steady so they wouldn't disapear after chasing someone eternally. Then remembering to put them on sic which is a lot of stuff to be occupied with when about 2 people are on you and you're trying to also dps.
SMN is really strong in pvp. Between the 3 consecutive energy drains on a target followed by flare, and ahk morn than the ruin III spam with bahamuts added damage. SMN devours everything lol.
I heal with whm and sometimes with Ast. I'm actually healing the same as I did before storm blood, however not as much as when they nerfed whm in the last patch. On a good game I'd average around 1.5 mil hp restored. When they nerfed whm I averaged around 1 mil. And now I'm healing around 1m despite only having one regen and a semi aoe heal. I do miss the CCs though only having fluid aura now kinda sucks.
