Doesnt seem like anything different to me on whm :( Still pure heals

You know I was still holding out hope of some sort of replacements for everything we lost but this puts the nail in that coffin. We have 4 less skills than both of the other classes and we have huge gaps in our spell lists where we lost things to role skills that aren't being replaced. It's also pretty insulting to do something like just move Cure III in for our level 40 quest.

SCH and AST still look way better. Unless the upcoming content is super healing intense WHM won't be good until 4.1 or 4.2

For intense healing content you'd want AST over WHM. WHM would be more for personal DPS. But... most people will probably want Balance instead of a healer with high personal DPS.

SCH took a hit but I still think it will be more useful paired with AST than WHM will. SCH crits will still make their shields superior if they stack crit and they have very good mitigation. AST is just hands down better than WHM. WHM might be able to have a small edge in healing but not enough to matter and most of its healing boosts are too unreliable to count on. Confession mechanic is still rubbish.

White mage simply does not have the stronger healing (although, since they noted MP costs when changed, it's safe to say WHM heals are still more expensive).

And sect bonuses affect all spells, not just benefic/benefic2

TBH, deep down we knew nothing substantial will be changed this close to release and SE does not disappoint.

I especially like how WHM gets Stone II at lvl 18 (200 Potency) and gets a negligible / pitiful 10 potency upgrade at lvl 54 with Stone III (210 potency).
That's how much thought the development team puts into designing White Mage job for Stormblood. Such a shame.

I say small taking into account the WHM's healing cd set. Asylum, Cure III and presence of mind can allow a WHM to push out a lot of sustained burst healing. That said the AST is no push over there but I think WHM has a slight advantage due to Presence of Mind. That just lets you pump out spells more quickly.

Don't get me wrong. I don't think it makes up for the WHM's shortfalls at all. Its really only a minor difference. The only thing WHM really has over the other two healers is personal dps and frankly I don't think its enough to make up the difference.
