[Stormblood Budget] Where all the money's gone ?

Basically, I don't think you can expect them to spend well the money. I think it's more that they will use the same amount of money to develop the same boring content without fixing anything, and all the extra money is just a bonus for every employee.

Class balance, new job storylines not just for new jobs but existing ones. New recipes, items, mounts, etc.

They also said longer cutscenes so that might be some of the budget especially considering more voice acting than HW

This is so STUPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID. It might be true but if they add a wardrobe system I think it will get players to return (more subs) and bring new players in (more subs) as a wardrobe system is VERY appealing to even the casual collector.
Also last I heard this budget thing was bs and just made up, but idk.

'I'm pulling conclusions out of my ass' the saga.

I had been hopeful that after years of feedback, they would use Stormblood to give themselves an opportunity to re-do the housing and glamour systems... at the very least provide some more customization options in character creation... but yeah, I'm with you. There are a lot of disappointments.

Where has the money gone....

1) TWO new zones that are (supposedly) each the size of Heavensward which are full of story.
2) New housing area.
3) Battle system refresh.
4) Expanded inventory.
5) New content types.
6) New jobs.
7) New raids (24 and 8 man).
8) New beast tribes and primals.
9) I can go on....

The money is being utilized, a good chunk of it will be in content, but a large piece will be in system renovations that are not surface-level items.
