Ugh... out of many ways of making gear fun (such as adding more stats), they're considering going with the most braindead, elitist way?

why not set bonus that you set to you put gear with your want

I'm just glad there was a readable version since I'm sure that took about thirteen minutes less time than watching the video.

It's still bizarre how small their development team is. Why SE wont shell out for some more staff on a successful game is beyond me.

I feel like we need to petition SE to give yoshi a bigger team. A lot of their problems in development seem to stem from just not having enough raw manpower.

Why did the swimming question make me think of blitzball. Can i join the ishgard dragoons or maybe the Alamidgan Pycs ?

IIRC, the actual XIV TEAM is a fairly decent size, it's just that they struggle to find Japanese-speaking staff for battle content specifically. Art team positions and general management/supervisory positions seem to be filled fairly quickly, it's just that actual battle content designers seem to be scarce in Japan.

Gotta start somewhere right? I'm just happy they're considering it.

Set bonuses are a proverbial Pandora's box if they make it savage exclusive. It makes no difference to me because I don't raid and don't really mind that they get different/better stuff. But people are gonna b*tch to high heaven about it.

right? personally, i think that raid gear should get some type of diadem-like stat allocation, making it slightly more unique and potentially BIS but Im sure people would disagree over stuff like fflogs etc so yeah
