Why Can't WHM Have An Enmity Lowering Stance?

What you are saying is correct but all im saying is i an AST did the exact same stuff I did they would never have taken aggro because of the enmity lowering stance. Also the "Shroud" type move they have lowers how much enmity they generate as well which is better than Shroud of saints near the start of battle.

Ive learned through this game that every healer has their own private tank and tanks has their own private healer ( im talking about players together working together good ).

Find your tank and you shouldnt have troubles :)

Yeah I do have my tank buddies but sometimes I just want to play alone and put my trust in PF tanks. Also keep in mind my main gripe is with PF DRKs since they have the worst aggro gain out of tank stance all the while refusing to Dark Arts a power slash because its a DPS loss for them which it is.

That really isn't your problem, at that point it's their own fault for not having that flexibility for their role. It wouldn't be fair to force you to stop playing optimally.

All three healers are different and should not be played in the same way. White mage should have problems with aggro, as they have the strongest heals the downside is you must watch your aggro. They are the polar opposite of BLM they too have to do the same, strongest magic but with the penalty of watching your aggro.

Wow what you said is exactly what my friends say on the matter. To bad most people don't care for an optimal WHM when they can just keep the deeps with the other 2 healers without worrying about aggro. Also i am trying to respond to everyone because I really want to know what the people think.

BLM also have quelling strikes for the opener, and Ast have the strongest heals the only cure WHM has that is stronger for enmity is cure3 cause its a huge burst AOE heal, oh and medica 2 but by the time in a fight where you would ever use these moves Shroud would have already been used a couple times making aggro no longer an issue for the rest of the fight.

So what's the problem? Even with your dps if tank cant keep hate calm down. Not sure why people need an ability for reducing enmity at all it's like an idiot check. I would rather they removed all enmity lowering moves and add an extra layer of difficulty.

MNK is the highest personal DPS job in the game and doesn't have an aggro dump ability. WHM does, so if you're still having problems it's definitely an issue with your tanks, not your own job. Or a severe case of overhealing.

OH MY GOD this is the best idea I like the way you think good sir. Honestly this might help out the MNK problem as well. But starting with just the healers could be a good start :p

A quick edit: BLM might need quelling now that I think about it but still I like the idea for healers.

editing again: I seemed to have forgotten about MCH and BRD which also might need these skills at the start of battle.

Yeah I know plenty of tanks who dislike MNKs because of the high personal DPS without having an enmity lowering move. As for the over heal problem my over heal is honestly not that high, but it is definitely there due to regen. :/
