I know its not a priority and I dont expect it to be :) I just wanted to bring it up at all - and thanks for the input of those who would prefer not to be stuck with the sidesaddle - thats excatly why I suggested that everyone would always be able to choose which pose they'd prefer in that specific moment! :)
(and yes, I can see why it looks silly on a unicorn - would still like to have it! Also, out of curiousity - for the GC-horses, do you girls ride sidesaddle or normal? Because I always thought you'd sit normal on those horses, aka: the normal option being ingame for you too)

Sidesaddle is the absolute worst way to ride just about anything.

It was only done because past civilization saw women spreading their legs for any reason (yes, even riding a horse) as inappropriate.

Person with a male character here and I have no objection to this. Some guys dislike the crossed-arm pose certain male horse/race combinations sometime use too. They're insane, of course; crossed-arms looks amazing. But I'm sure they'd appreciate a /cpose for that reason even though the male animation is a lot more subtle than sidesaddle.

I don't have the GC horses but my character doesn't ride sidesaddle on the GARO mecha horses so the normal animation exists.

Could we combine this request with other mounted /changepose requests? Because I'd like to sit on the swing of my bomb palanquin. As a Miqo'te male, my main character squats standing on the seat while holding the support chain and leaning forward. It actually looks kind of cool I guess while moving, but ridiculous when stopped. Sometimes I'd like to just use that bomb palanquin as a porch swing without the porch, and sit on it and relax. (They could use the pose from how we sit on the Behemoth mount.)

So I'll support your desire to sit sidesaddle on a unicorn, and other ladies' desire to sit astride one, if you'll support my desire to sit on a swing.

SE has already offered us multiple /changepose options while standing, sitting on the ground, sitting on a chair, or laying down, so I'd think some /changepose options while mounted would be in line with that.

I think my bomb palanquin pose is the greatest thing ever, but now I sort of want to see how it would look if I tried squatting. Today I learnt why no male Miqo'te seem to ride that mount.

I would absolutely love for a /changepose for mounted poses to be added, and most especially for it to include a sidesaddle option for all races and genders. I'm sure anyone who plays a mage class will agree with me; most of our gear options are long robes or coats, or even full skirts, and these clip terribly on most mounts when riding astride. I know it isn't typical for males to ride sidesaddle (Though it isn't entirely unheard of, either), but for the sake of those of us who wear robes, it would be a really nice option to have.

I really love the look of this mount, but I cannot STAND how male Miqo'te ride it, so I almost never use it. I feel like I'm going to fall off! I'd still kinda want the sidesaddle pose deep in my heart, but if they'd just give me the option to sit in the chair like a normal person I'd probably be happy enough not to mind so much.
