Ding ding ding! We have a winner
Not to mention job quests to span that level range. Whole bunch of extra work that doesn't need to be done that can now be done on other things.
Cap it at 1 with the gear you get from the job quest using the level cap system they use for fates and dungeons. Problem solved I'm not wanting all new gear made.
Everyone keeps saying things like run dungeons but it seems you guys can't read. I want to start at 1. I want to go do huntsomething and LEVEL the job. I want to enjoy the experience of leveling the class from the start. Running dungeons is not that and doing that stupid dungeon is not the same thing.
Everyone seems to be against what I suggest because they think it would effect them when giving the option to start from scratch means OPTIONAL. I know like 90% of you want to just jump in and go end game on new jobs but there is that small percentage that would want to start off at one
Also the only gear that would need to be made if they NEEDED to make gear would be weapons since we already have a crap ton of armor so that reasoning is kind of pointless how long would it really take to replicate the same 5 glamour 14 times with different shaders and stats. But again I think the level cap on the class and weapon would be enough though. I doubt this topic will ever get the attention to make a change this late in the development but one can hope.
i wouldn't want this feature but as an option they could add an NPC that resets your current class's level. Yoshida even mentioned something like that at the Tokyo fan fest (he was surprised there's a demand for it). Of course it should have a lot of warnings so it doesn't happen by accident.
In such a case, they won't need to add any job quests beforehand. You'all still progressively get abilities like how DRK, MCH and AST has abilities spread out pre-30. I think that will be the closest thing you would get. Unlock RDM, reset it to 1, grind it back up.
Samurai. It's Samurai that's coming out.Quote:
