Chocobo races to high level aetherial gates sounds kinda fun. Grab a host together (at least two parties) and everyone who tags the gate, wins! Do this until all aetherial gates in the world have been tagged. It will slowly go toward your achievement count as well while allowing you to teleport to these locations in the future... unless there are no plans for them until 2.0, in which case, they would probably be reset and destroyed anyway...
Monsters will likely blow fire, throw a ton of poo (a literal 2000 pound pack of poo that does just as much damage, thank you lindwurm in Gridania, I HATE JOO!!!), gored by tusks, crushed by ogres, and all other fun sorts of mayhem.
Can we please get SOMETHING TO DO ingame?

The quests don't have interesting stories, not even the main scenario story quest, the side quests make you either run around forever, or simply kill a few things. Guildleves are the worst especially when you get 8 max and can only pick up 4 per camp.
