I won't play MCH because of the animations. They look silly to me. And the perma-lunch box on your hip.
Also, I never got over the one time I met one, and they trash-talked BRDs (my main), and how MCH was so much better than a BRD could ever be. But that's just a personal problem I have. I know not every MCH is like that, but considering I was still fairly new to the game, and really loving BRD, it just really turned me off the job. Trying to get over it though, since I will eventually need to level it to 60.
I also avoided WAR for a long time because I don't like axe jobs. Now my WAR is level 50, because after playing it in PotD at 60 and learning the beauty that is Fell Cleave, now I actually enjoy the job.

In a reversal of this thread's premise, I levelled AST primarily because I liked the aesthetic. Along the way I started to appreciate how fun it was as well!

I have every job to level 30 and some at 60, so i have a rough idea about how each job plays.
I'd say BLM for me was the least enjoyable becasue of the long cast time and standing still.
PLD.. I have no memories of playing it xD -

Now these four bend a bit more on the feminine side. The first two are a casting of the stone spell. Notice how the toes angle inwards. The feet are spread apart, but not the legs, which refuse to part much beyond the knees. This could be considered feminine because a "lady" is expected not to spread her legs, or it could just be a consequence of white mages--male or female--wearing a skirt, dress or robe.
These last two are Asylum and Assize. To be fair to Asylum, it involves a bit of floating, and manly floating is hard to pull off. And Assize, well... the left hand just screams, "I... feel... Fabulous!!!" But after damaging, healing, and restoring mp all at the same time, who wouldn't feel a little fabulous?
