What about you actually use the house? If you never visit it in 45 days and you only "move in to ring the bell and move stuff around", then you shouldnt have a house. That simple.
It is rediculous that many people look for a house for their FC and people like you who never even visit the house think they are entitled to keep it.

Especially since this thread is addressing the BUG that an ACTIVE PLAYER can lose their house...? It's not entitlement to keep something you worked for and are following the guidelines to keep.

A glitch or something I don't know but I got a house with me and my friend, my friend bought it for me he was in and out of the house constantly but the timer still ticked down and lost it. No chance on getting it back since the community isn't that forgiving.

Either literally every person is lying about actually stepping foot in a personal house that they themselves owned or they are giving up on this matter far too easily. At the absolute worst the people that this happens to should get 100% of all gil and every single item they had in the house back. Anything less than that would be unacceptable.

Look, I understand you are probably frustrated with the housing system, which you should be. There are many things about the housing system that is wrong and that they should fix, but telling people that you shouldn't have a house because you don't go use it constantly for whatever reason, like personal housing the only thing you can really do in there is decorate it, or I guess role-play in it if that's your sort of thing. Other features you can get with personal housing are in other parts of the game, its just convenient to have them all in a centralized place. The only real benefit you may get is gardening but most people are to lazy to even keep up with gardening in the first place to the point where I almost never see a garden at this point. Not arguing about FC airships, I don't think FC houses and Personal Houses should have shared the same system in the first place.
And I hope this is not the case that people are losing their houses after checking it, following the rules that SE set forth. Housing is one of the few things I really really enjoy about this game. I am super paranoid about losing my house and I check it once a month (realistically once every 2 weeks) to make sure I do not lose it. If people really are losing their houses after checking it, that's a huge problem. -

I have had my house for a few months it was a gift from a friend who knew I fiddle with my housing daily. I even have 2 dedicated retainers for the furnishings. Well I had a hurricane come through and had to take time away luckily my FC mates alerted me to the demo status (because SE didnt send me a single email) and I got on moved a few things around and accessed my summoning bell in the house. That should have reset the timer that was 3 weeks ago I am now able to play more and get back into the swing of things and I come back to find my house is gone someone else owns I was standing at the gate of my old house that how shitty it was to log into it I put in a ticket not response.
