1:Instant job changes, Coming from FFXI you have NO idea how much of a pure strain it was having to go to a specific area to change jobs and get all the the gear for it..
2:Well designed characters.
3:Full control over how your character looks.
4:Gill is not a necessity for progression, only serves as a speed up.
5:Great music, a good soundtrack can really pull me in during fights or dungeon crawling.
1. Aesthetics: This one is probably the biggest one for me surprisingly. FFXIV (and FFXI also) have been the only MMOs I could really deal with aesthetically. I'm not saying that the graphics are phenomenal or anything in comparison to another game, the way things are designed and the colors that are used and the way that everything looks is pleasing to me and I can actually semi immerse myself in the world, which for me in an MMO is important. After playing quite a few MMOs I realized this is a make of break for me with MMORPGs in general.
2. Housing: Though there's a million things I wish they would do to housing to make it better and more enjoyable, I still enjoy decorating my in-game house a lot...
3. Extreme Primal and Harder Fights: Basically I have enjoyed most content that has been extreme primal difficulty and harder, I find them really fun to learn as long as the other people you are playing with are also having fun learning them as well~
4. Story?: This is iffy for me. I really don't like how the story is written(localization wise mainly) and I don't like how a lot of it is presented a lot of the time, but overall I like having it regardless of my complaints, and every patch I enjoy going through the 2-3 hours of the main story quests.
5. I like my FC
1. Multiple Jobs one Character
2. The Glam
3. The Primal
4. The Primal Drops (mounts, etc.)
5. Voice Acting - Always skip the MS unless Voice Acting! lol ;;
1) Really had no idea what I was getting into when I bought this game. The game case said "IT'S YOUR FINAL FANTASY", and I was sold lol. It was another online entry in the ff series and since 11 is the only ff game I haven't played, I wanted to check it out. Been hooked since and I pretty much compare any new game I play to this game, and they have all fell short in way or another.
2) FF lore and the iconic music
3) Being able to play all the classic jobs on one character, and finally being able to play FF in a multiplayer format with IRL friends
4) one thing that has kept me hooked is the gameplay/combat mechanics. It feels like an action-adventure type game, for melee classes at least, the combat reminds me a lot of games like God of War which I really like compared to the traditional turn-based combat. Which I'll be honest, when I play the old ff games now I get sleepy spamming X (or A/B depending on console lol)
5) and also the feeling of accomplishment when you clear the raids and extreme primals for the first time, keeps me coming back for more
-Job system+crossing skills
-PvP (Although that PvP system is... so many bugs before and silly matching system
1. The story. I love the story so much. I know it's not perfect but I love it.
2. There's always something to do. Mainly, I like that I don't have to rush to 60 in order to raid if I don't want to. I can take my time leveling and pursue things other than raiding if I choose to do so.
3. The community. I've only played for a short time, but most of the groups I've come across have been super nice. If I'm new and don't know something, I don't get abuse hurled at me. It's nice.
4. I can do everything on one character. I don't need an army of alts.
5. The music and the scenery. Sometimes I just have to stop and immerse myself in it because it's so lovely.
In no particular order.
I like to heal here
graphics
my character is pleasant to look at.
story quests
the fights keep getting better
The tome grinding, allll the tome grinding. Btw did i mention i loooooved the tome grinding?
This is my first ever MMO, I never thought I would play a SUB based game but I got sucked in.
1: SCHOLAR!!!!!, I started as a CNJ/WHM but when I started to level other jobs I fell in love with Scholar. I enjoyed it in other games, but this version is like the epitome. I hope to see it in future Final Fantasy games.
2: Battle System, it may start slow but its flows nicely and works well, it feels both forgiving and dynamic.
3: Active Classes/Jobs, this game allows you to be every class/job on one character, and each character can be more than just that particular role. I love that I can DPS as a Healer, though some people don't like that.
4: Environment, the world is gorgeous, granted it could feel a little more alive, but it works really well
5: Lalafells, well need I say more, lol
