A12 savage World first 3 days after patch

newer ppl will be motivated to try it, ppl that never raided before.

before you had groups try certain floors for months and they couldn't succeed and eventually gave up. 1, 2 even 3 months all without a reward and in the end some canceled their sub. do you really think that's the better way?

"It's alright not to play it everyday. Since it's just a game, you can stop forcing yourself if it's hard on you to keep that up. Rather, it'll just pile up unnecessary stress if you limit yourself into playing just that one game since there are so many other games out there. So, do come back and play it to your heart's content when the major patch kicks in, then stop it to play other games before you got burnt out, and then come back for another major patch. We have also 3x 2 hours a week to raid. We did our first 2 hours yesterday and reached 41% in A9S (without guides). I never had such a fast progress ever in any coil turn or alex.

My feelings are I hope people wait until we see how long it takes the more average groups before people start discussing if the sky is falling or not. I'd rather not have a repeat of FCoB->Gordias where lots of people who probably didn't even do the fights themselves complained FCoB was too easy after the best group beat it in less than a week and then caused Gordias the biggest blow to the raiding population since the start of 2.0.

Personally, the thing I have liked least about FFXIV raids is that 1 person making a mistake or dying means the entire team dies. I like challenging content, but I am happy that this is more forgiving than the previous tiers.

After reading some post I understand it being made easier as you want to appeal to as much of the fan base as possible.

Don't most end game raids unsub after a month anyway? So in a way it's better for the more casual people to enjoy.

I would rather have had normal be this difficulty and savage be the real savage...... hmmmm man if only there was a game that did that.... OH YEA IT WAS FKN 2.0 THAT DID THAT!!! THE ONE THAT PEOPLE LIKED MORE!!!!!!

See people did like it more but for Story reason, Coil's story was amazing and tied in with ARR where as Alex was more a side story about characters we didn't even know.
Yeah people liked Coil more but the main complaint was people who wanted to know the story needed to have a Raid group or that could clear it but not everyone could raid effectively.
