Server's down?!?!

I hate to ask this but have you turned off your computer? Or even turned off your router?

Try turning them both off and then unpluging them for 5 or 10 min and then powering it all back up and see what happens.

Also are play wireless or are you plugged in?

Did you get back on yet?

I've powered down the PC and both turned off the router and unplugged it, powered everything back up and still can't get to the character select screen. I play hardwired from the router/modem directly to the PC.
I'm really at a loss with it because it came out of no where and it's lasted for days now.

Ok so did some more reading came up with a few things to try and get you back up

1:
1) Go to Documents -> My Games -> Final Fantasy XIV -> user
2) Delete all the folders inside.
3) Restart the game.

2:
FFXIV Config, then opened the General Tab. I changed the UPnP Port Mapping from Automatic to Do Not Use.

FFXIV - Ports (55296-55551)

I could log in but couldnt interact with anthing ingame couldnt start leves or buy/sell to npc's so i logged out fuck it

When did this happen?
I ask because Rabanastre did have some server problems the other day.
