Do we really need stats tied to the gear?

People can only gear one or two job if they only look in front of them
Look outside the box there a tons of way to gear up

The craft itself give you very decent stuff for all job and now cost nothing to craft (wait... it was the same before)
The only thing you have to worry about is the weapon
And for that you can have a 210 eso weapon very quickly

Add up some new dungeon 215 stuff, VA2 Mhach 230 stuff, midas 220 stuff which now unlimited loot

And tell me how you can't gear more than 2 job ?

Gearing up jobs for content that doesn't need gear beyond the minimum ilvl to progress can hardly be called gearing up, coz there is no point except faster clear rate.

Of course the main issue is with Ex primals and savage where you need better gear to improve the odds, especially in PF or more casual groups.

Ex primals are doable in ilevel 220 gear, I think
