Job Idea: Dancer (Healer)

I love the idea of dancer, and I'd totally main the crap out of that. But at the same time, it kind of makes me laugh hysterically.

As a healer: "Hmm, you seem to be missing some HP. Let me dance seductively for you so you can regain it." "You seem to be missing a lot of HP, better break out some krumping."

As a DPS: "Let me just shimmy my body to make you hurt."

Yep. That's why it should be an evasion tank. Let's leave healing to the samurai. Ohh that would be sweeet.
But let the dancer keep the fans. I want to beat up giant monsters with paper fans.

Here you go: Job Idea: Dancer DPS

Fun thing about dancer is that it's in that realm of jobs that could potentially be designed to fit any role. We have a healer here, a DPS in the other thread, and even I have my tank concept for it. Sure, some person could state their claim that it should be like this or it's meant to fit that role because it was like that in some past Final Fantasy game, but it's important to know that that sort of logic prevents the type of creativity we see in these threads.

Back to this particular example of dancer, I like it. The allure/charisma system seems a bit convoluted, but this does have a couple of utility tricks I'd love to see implemented in the game.

Interesting idea. I love the idea of dancer being a healer, but I'd like to see it be a healer along the lines of the rift chloromancer or wow's new disc priest. Healing by doing melee attacks. Would give ffxiv a new play style to add to the current classes.
