Separate Tab For Materia PLEASE! and...

I've been asking gear and item tabs for so loooong....but they never heard me. ; ;

Agree with it though. IMO we should have gear, item, crystals (materia, dark matter and catalysts could enter in crystal tab too...since they're grouped together at MW), consumables, currency and, if not grouped with crystal, matter (for dark matter, materias and catalysts)

Don't count on it, guys. Much as I originally liked the idea (for materia, not catalysts), I would much rather have all my items in one place, so all my inventory slots can count towards anything. 150 inventory slots and 50 materia slots perhaps? What if I don't have any materia? I would rather have my 200 slots free to hold whatever. Greater than 50 materia? That's too bad, you've reached the limit.

It sounds like you just need to do some spring cleaning for your materia. Junk your tier 1s and 2s, sell or junk most of your tier 3s, and sell or junk your semi-useless stat resist materia that no one really uses much of. I don't know about you, but if I did that, I'd whittle myself down to... 10 materia? Something around there.

If your problem is with scrolling... are you using the page up + page down buttons? I don't know if controllers have an equivalent, but the page up and page down buttons help me retain my sanity.

Or just have all the inventory tabs be able to equal up to a total of 200.

I really like this personally, but I've not read any official source of it. does anyone have a link to more information on this? Later posts say this is more in lines of 2.0, but I didn't pick up on this in the 2.0 FAQs I've seen or the PDFs. Thanks in advance.

With that said, materia/edibles/potions being more accessable by being in their own tabs would be pretty nice :p Making macros to use throat drops isn't TOO bad. Materia feels kind of special like it would be in a little baggette baggy or something.

Overflowing with materia......can make them be like shards and crystals?

Let's take this a little further and ask for Tabs for everything.. the current system is obscene..

For now, you can jump down by item type by pressing left and right.

left/right arrow keys imo jumps too much, I prefer Page Up/Down but same time dunno why they have 2 different ways to skip lol... they just need tab/bags to keep other items in to keep main inventory clean orz

Agreed, though I hate the Bag system myself, the Tab system or some variation thereof would be a godsend.

Seperate tab would be nice, also make them stackable already. when i realised they didn't stack i didn't think anyting of it i thought they would have done it in 1.19a like they did with Aby seals in XI once they realized how much space not making them stackable would take up.

Has SE released any information on this being a possibility?

I wonder what will happen if your inventory is full when they make the change?
