Separate Tab For Materia PLEASE! and...

Materia should have it's own Item Tab!!!

Also, would be nice if gear, usable items, materials get their own tab as well. I'm sick of scrolling through 200 items.

this seems mad to me. what if i have 120 items in my inventory when they cut the number back to 100, will i lose 20 items and which 20, how will they know which 20 to take away. an extreme thought a minute. but imagine if you lost our ifrit weapon coz of this. anyway sorry to get off topic i agree a tab for materia would be nice.

We will be keeping 200 until we switch to 2.0 I think.

Te plan is they will move all our items to an NPC when we switch servers then we can pick up the items and manage our inventory as needed, we will be getting manaquinns which will reduce the amount of armour we carry in our inventory also.

I really like this personally, but I've not read any official source of it. does anyone have a link to more information on this? Later posts say this is more in lines of 2.0, but I didn't pick up on this in the 2.0 FAQs I've seen or the PDFs. Thanks in advance.

With that said, materia/edibles/potions being more accessable by being in their own tabs would be pretty nice Making macros to use throat drops isn't TOO bad. Materia feels kind of special like it would be in a little baggette baggy or something.

Don't count on it, guys. Much as I originally liked the idea (for materia, not catalysts), I would much rather have all my items in one place, so all my inventory slots can count towards anything. 150 inventory slots and 50 materia slots perhaps? What if I don't have any materia? I would rather have my 200 slots free to hold whatever. Greater than 50 materia? That's too bad, you've reached the limit.

It sounds like you just need to do some spring cleaning for your materia. Junk your tier 1s and 2s, sell or junk most of your tier 3s, and sell or junk your semi-useless stat resist materia that no one really uses much of. I don't know about you, but if I did that, I'd whittle myself down to... 10 materia? Something around there.

If your problem is with scrolling... are you using the page up + page down buttons? I don't know if controllers have an equivalent, but the page up and page down buttons help me retain my sanity.

Or just have all the inventory tabs be able to equal up to a total of 200.
