Does the link system make any sense?

Wow, and I thought me and my BF getting shanked by Kokoroon Quickfinger after a bastard Yarzon screamed for help was bad!

That is pretty awesome actually. I wouldn't mind death from something like that. Makes the game feel more alive.

They did mention they will fix where certain type of mobs will link depending on it's species etc.
Plant calling help from another plant, etc...
