3.2 lore tome gear

Unqiue gear for each role would have been nice but at the same time i'm kinda glad as i was seriously considering quitting being a bard if they were giving them moogle gear.

The thinking is along the lines of.....

Raider do not apply to this.

3.0 Most people only have time to get 1 or 2 job to 60... and get max gear at the time.
3.1 Maybe another 1-3 jobs to 60... but not all jobs max geared....
3.2 and moving forward... People have many jobs max level but because of weekly lockouts. Can't gear all jobs to max gear... SO let there be only 4 sets and everyone can easily max out gear.

RANT ON! SE wants a level playing field God forbid someone thinks outside of the box and do better then they think we can. NO ... we must put a stop to that. SE meeting. TANK are using STR gear and DPS more then we thought about. we can't have that make VIT there DMG mod. That way all tanks are the same.

.... What does that have to do with anything?

We're discussing why the gear was drawn from only 4 different primals. There aren't only 4 sets. It's just that 3 of the sets are the same thematically as 3 of the others

We were just talking about aesthetics... no stat based discussion here O.o;

Have they even reealed the designs for all the new sets yet? I can't remember what they looked like.

Perhaps they are holding primals back for future eikonic sets. So we may get a later titan, ramuh, bismarck, ravana set.

I can't wait to get another white set (Bismarck) on my WHM, AST and SCH then collect another version to be Dark Bismarck on my SMN and BLM while the DPS players run around with lightning effects and glowing rocks all over their bodies.

I bet they are saving the rest of the primals for 3.4 gear. Would make the most logical sense to do that.

Why would they repeat primal gear again in the same expansion?
