Godbert just looks done with Hildi's crap.

I'm surprised that given the fact Vivi looks entirely like a mamet that nothing resembling him has ever appeared yet. Then again FF6 did get a lot of references and has someone in common with FF9. Maybe someone called in an unused favor for the moble and steam port.

Well with FF14 Vivi in the Hildibrand section of 3.2 we are finally getting Vivi now and as part of a misadventures. Hopefully FF14 Vivi isn't a one episode thing but as one of the main characters for Hildibrand season 2.

Well anyone else notice a FF14 Ramza in the trailer?

Only difference is that this "Ramza" is a Arcanist since we don't have any Rapier Job yet.

I just saw the trailer and noticed the outfit and pony tail. Oddly enough that didn't stop them from giving Gilgamesh a Greatsword, Mace, and Great Katana despite neither (GS now) were available in game.

Wow, that was so shockingly short. Only 2 quests, and Hildibrand even isn't in one of them. Then we get one cutscene with him and... that's it?.. There was 1 case per patch in 2.x, now it looks like there will be one case for the whole 3.x split in very short segments.
After so many months of waiting, that was a major disappointment.

Yeah, I was let down by that too :/ 3.2 seems like the laziest update so far (so many recolors of gear too!)

Quick question is the new hildibrand a continuation from the ( cant remember his name) Elzen who was searching for the book? Or is he just by himself?

At least he was not a Ramza clone.

But while I think most of it was just filming the Mandervill freefall. (no wonder he does those squats) But I swear that scene reminded me of another one in some film.

They removed the existence of that sword from the last chapter that sent him flying in the last arch. Although I'm wondering if Hildibrand is really that idiotic. It seems like it was a real big coincidence he chose to go right back, deeper into the same spot after waking up and seeing Godbert. Only to be yanked back out with both hands holding GIGI. Almost like he had a hunch something was still there...
