The dungeons that drop law will instead drop eso which will be uncapped. You will not only be able to achieve a higher ilvl faster it will make the law gear irrelevant beyond glamour. Such has been the course every two patches since the game came out.
Yes, but we never had such a huge gap in required ilvl that early.
Wanderer's Palace was 45, next patch, Sirius was 48, next patch Lost City was 55, next patch, Hullbreaker isle was 70.
So, it took 4 patches to require more than philosophy gear to even enter the latest MSQ dungeon, which was Snowcloak.
Upgraded Law will grant no access as soon as 3.2 hits, and Antitower has been confirmed to be part of the MSQ.
I'm going to assume Centurio seals were intended instead of GC seals, which would match up with the current situation with Soldiery gear as of 3.0. I personally don't see the need for a different tomestone. Just move the 200 gear to Law and move the current Law gear to Centurio seals or lower price in Law.
Where does it say that Law will be removed? All I saw was that a new tomestone will be added.
Won't Poetics be removed, if anything?
Correct Poetic Tombs will be dropped first law and esoterics will move down one tier and the new tombs will replace esoterics.
Poetics won't be removed as they're the only farmable tomestones @ 50 for those that don't have the expansion.
Law will be phased out and replaced with Esoterics, Esoterics being replaced with a new tomestone. The point with this is to have 1 farmable tomestone to gear up for current content and one that's capped weekly. This was, at least, the case for 2.0 - things might change in 3.0 but the system kinda works so I doubt they'll do anything different. The gear you could get with the previous farmable tomestone was usually thrown in dungeons or could be bought at your GC eventually, so it's not entirely gone you just get it in a different way.
