So 2.0 would literally be waking up from a bad dream. An... interesting coincidence, if nothing else. :P

We will be experiencing the full story you are wanting.
Ever since Yoshi-P posted that poem everything to do with archons and umbral era has been to get to v2.0.
The end of that storyline is the beginning of v2.0. :D
No, you wake up on an Imperial Juggernaut flying at a Mothership fighting dragon and.. oh wait. :P
Until I hear an official announcement they are scrapping the entire storyline, I'm not going to be freaking out of my loins. It was to my understanding that the only "unrepeatable" part would be from here until 2.0 when the world undergoes ridiculous geographical changes. Of course I could be blind and completely confused on the storyline matter, that's entirely possible.
THAT BLOODY RED MOON DID THIS.
wait wait wait...
So I'll be able to completely remake my character and keep all my gear and stats? "Nefertina" isn't exactly a guy's name lol, but if I can change that along with gender etc etc... that's terrific! I don't have to restart at all then!
I just can't wait till Sephiroth throws Meteor at Gridania...
My 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.
It was my understanding they were going to incorporate the new story with our old dying world. They mentioned that before 2.0 hits, we will be able to witness strange things happening to the world that will be exclusive to us PC players. I'm pretty sure the questlines/story will flow into one another.
from what i understand. the story that is released in the next patches leading up to 2.0 will only be playable by any1 that subscribes. i guess its a kind of insentive or treat for paying players. i for one am glad and can't wait to find out how the world ends. i also have my money on sephiroth. hey we have materia if any gets any black materia. don't give it to a strange man with a black cape and a very long sword :D
Anyone saw FF XIV V2 comin on this question? and the Doomsday of Eorzea?Quote:
the last question of the Player’s Poll asks whether players would accept changes that “drastically alter the way we know Eorzea.”
