Odd question regarding Minfilia?

I'd say that would be conclusive... but Yugiri's initial model used miqo'te animations and we all know how that turned out.

The reason I got curious is actually because of the glamour gear they just released of hers. I've seen plenty of players with her clothing, but there was one that looked exactly like her, and that player was a female highlander. That's what initially piqued my curiosity, since, until then, I always thought midlander too, then I remembered she was Ala Mhigan, which is "mostly" highlanders. But even though there was no female model in 1.0 there was a male one and while I can't speak of his face, which does look highlander, Warburton's body model is midlander, you can tell by the shirt he is wearing, which is the male midlander "underwear".

Female highlanders, for the most part, have very.....hard/masculine faces and bodies. I would say Minfy is a midlander.

I'd say Minfilia is a Highlander who never had a Highlander upbringing. Note her assets are larger than a Midlander's (even if she was totally a Midlander in 1.0, girl blossomed hard in those 5 years...). That was a going joke for a while during the 2.0 Beta. Then they launched the new Hildibrand questline and gave Nashu a similar growth spurt. The joke's gotten pretty old now yet we still keep seeing it being made (Y'shtola totally got work done with the outfit change).

I'm pretty sure she's a Midlander. Obviously I can't say for sure because NPC exceptions, but my main argument is my own character. Here I am with my hair dyed blonde, wearing Minfillia's outfit.

Out of curiousity, does she have a class/job? I'm only in the ARR part of the storyline (striking against Galean outposts to get to Ultima Weapon) and haven't seen her use any combat abilities.

The other Scions appear to be an arcanist, a monk, a black mage, a rogue, and a conjurer.

She is a 'princess', she doesn't fight. Just stands there, occasionally sticks her assets in your face during cutscenes and gets rescued.

Alas, even the boost given by the outfit isn't a patch on the actual lady herself.

Minfilia is without a shadow of a doubt, a Midlander. The possibility of her exhibiting Highlander traits are there. But her base model is a Midlander. Granted that you can make a Highlander look almost identical to a Midlander (I've seen it done). Watch when Minfilia comes back, she's gonna kick butt and become a MCH. Idk why but I get this gut feeling they are gonna hype her up when she's back. New hair, new outfit, and a new attitude.
