How do these changes fix the issues with Paladin?

I'm not 60 yet but while leveling, if a fight doesn't end quickly...I'm out. Spent half the Darkscale fate sitting at 0-40 tp yesterday. :/

I also see paladins run out in a3 or a4 sometimes. I've had to toss up Army's Paean more than once for a paladin.

He doesn't realize what's he's missing. Also, I use a controller and I have my Shield Swipe attached in a macro to another attack in my rotation so that I'll always use it when it comes up.

The thought (I'm sure) is that we'll be using Shield Swipe on recast finally- and due to the off gcd enmity is supplies we'll be able to use Royal Authority more often. Added tp reductions are always welcome. Don't forget we're also going to be seeing a shift toward physical damage in the coming patches as well. Yes, these changes are slightly underwhelming (and still nothing changed in regards to clemency and divine veil which is depressing) but they're nothing to scoff at either. A3S costs a fortune on your TP if you have to stun several mobs.

Have you ever seen a WAR do a dummy fight and then a PLD do one? PLD needs TP and this is a decent balance in my opinion.

PLD goes TP dry pretty quick if you are pushing damage with little downtime.

So in a nutshell they increased PLD dps by 10 potency/s and reduced Goring blade TP to offset what you would have gained by using Shield Swipe before (40 TP skill)

Don't forget the 15 sec. Recast Timer now on Swipe.
Actually I'd asume it is overall a small DMG increase to Paladin as you can oGCD Swipe that will now bring additional DMG.

Inb4 bad PLD macro shield swipe to every single skill and complain that their dps is worse than before ala 2.0 brd lol

I thought they were fixing the TP issues for paladin? Lowering goring blade cost by 10 is not going to make a significant difference when you can run out in less than three minutes as is. Not going to pull out a napkin, but assuming you're using goring blade once every 3 sets of combos, you're saving what...? 80 tp with this change over 3 minutes?

WAR has pretty much infinite TP right now, and they can go a lot longer than three minutes without even using their 1-minute Equilibrium cooldown for 200 tp. I don't understand why they want paladin and dark knight to be tp starved so much sooner.

I don't get why people are still complaining, in 3.1 it's going to be easy to get i210 gear and Pld v.s. Drk only mattered in early progression...
