If someone sends me a tell saying they've been to x% and just haven't been able to get a party to clear it, I give them a fair shot. 2-3 wipes is usually enough to tell if they actually do know the fight. If it's clear that that's not the case, I tell them they need to get some more practice and ask them to leave the party (if it hasn't already broken up due to people getting frustrated). It's terribly selfish and disrespectful to jump into a farm run and expect the other seven people to carry you through the fight.
Then you're getting into crappy farm groups whose leaders need to learn to kick weak links. :/Quote:

This title IS a bit misleading I will admit.
Does the message appear when a new person joins your group? If your on farm, you have every right to get rid of said players that have not cleared. However, should you choose to keep them, then it's whatever happens, happens. This could be a bit tougher to do if more than one new player joins, since you won't know who has cleared and who hasn't, but I don't think blocking in the PF is the answer..
Especially in a theme park type MMO as this one. I just don't see devs giving players the ability to lock out folks from the PF. Plus I can see this being abused in some way or another down the line. People do crazy things sometimes when given the means to do so. -

Everyone besides me and my FC mate where new, no one did any research what so ever, the other healer (FC mate was white mage) kept blowing people up, other tank wouldn't swap (Yea, I know unsynched, I like giving healers an easier load anyways) DPS falling like flys, not killing nails, etc. ANYTHING THAT COULD GO WRONG WENT WRONG
In the end on the last run we were about to quit, we somehow beat it. 6 new players we left after giving them their clears. No pony btw.
Anyway, the point is if your PFing hard content just remember this.

Usually from my experience, leaders who see that message upon entering (full party) pretty much say they won't go any farther with someone sneaking into their clear and just up disbands. Like I said, it is hard to know who has and clear and who doesn't when you PUG up.Quote:
