Agreed. Really tired of the dragoon jokes. I think SE should start suspending people on the forums for making them. Classism or jobism or something like that. I'm being serious. People have taken it too far. Some people don't mean anything and just poking fun but there are a lot of people who fully believe the stereotypes. And when its the only job that constantly gets picked on and made fun of then SE needs to step in and put a stop to it and not encourage it like they've done in the past.

You see this is the problem with everything you have just said. DRG is the BEST DPS in the game right now. ask any competent player and they will tell you DRG is borderline OP right now. So those of you DRG who get hate probably deserve it. A good DRG is the best thing since sliced bread and a bad one is the best floor tank, either way you are the best just depends on what.

Not only that, in the HW video a Dragoon jumps in the air and gets eating by a Dragon lol.

The problem, I think, is that people pretend as if other classes don't ever die.

Personally I see as many dead monks and ninjas as I do Dragoons. It's true (so I've been told) that ragging on dragoons is a hand me down from FFXI. I enjoy my dragoon as I do my ninja. They are both fun to play.

Its not that other classes die less, its that DRG's died because of the mechanics of their job. A MNK/NIN/whatever dies because the player did something wrong and ate a mechanic, but DRG often died because of a jump which is a mechanic only part of the DRG job. I have never seen an MNK die because he stacked greased lightning nor have i ever seen a nin die because he clicked the mudra button. I have seen a great many DRG die because they clicked jump. This is partly because SE designed jumps to have a long animation, but it is also do to the players lack of knowledge. This is why DRG specifically is the best floor tank. It has nothing to do with the player since we talking about the inherent limitations of the job which the player needs to account for.
