Grand Company Enlistment!

So I'm confused... Will we be able to switch Companies to another in the future? I really don't understand what the notes are saying here. Perhaps I'm just reading this wrong. If anyone can shed any light on this It would be appreciated.

They did say that for now, no switching is allowed, but any seals accumulated via other GCs will remain hidden for future use. The option to switch is coming at some point, we just don't know when. When that happens, no one really knows if there will be any sort of penalty, quests or whatnot required for the switch; however any seals you had before permanent recruitment in 1.19 will still be there and available for use.

Nothing much more to read into it beyond that for the time being.
