Smn class that doesn't summon the primals....

I'm all for keeping the primals what they are and use the Ivalice Espers for SMN spells in this game~

I'd love to see some FFXIV redesigns of summons like Framfrit, Belias, and Adrammelech.

But normal mobs? No thanks.

I appreciate you coming up w/ an alternative to using the real summons since they're mentioned as Primals in this lore so far, but for me, "Summoner" = "Cool character that can summon Ifrit, Shiva, Bahamut, Titan, Leviathan, etc." (^_^)

That's one of the pillars of past Final Fantasy games (Ivalice notwithstanding). I'd love to see a real, exciting rendition of Summoner, where you can summon all our favorite Summons from Final Fantasy's long, rich history. :)

We'll look into it.

When smn do come out allow them to ask the primals to use there god in a fight. I don't see how the lore can get mess up when you could easy come up with a loop hole to make this happen.

Tanaka said a lot of things... and I can't forgive him for rushing the game and releasing it the way he did as an unfinished mess. His "vision" ended up being a big embarrassment. I'm not trying to flame, I'm just glad he got replaced and the game is slowly improving. And we're already friends with the Slyphs and some of the Goblins and Qiqirns. :D

It's seem you and everyone else who dislike tanaka are blind to see that he was a "Scapegoat" it was up to "Yoichi Wada" or "sage sundi" online producers. Tanaka did not release the game he said many time the game is not ready for a 2010 release. So please stop blaming him and bashing other for even saying his name.

Yoshi-p been working on this game for over 5months and still the same only a few fix here and there. I know it take time but i think they should worry about the core fix/servers fix seeing how we can't even get mail box due to this issue,.

Anyways is version of the game and idea are better at least the part with the be friend the beastman and learn from them. I hope yoshi-p goes and get this idea and make it happen. Some of us still want the game we was waiting for 1year of seeing interviews and following everything about ffxiv.

No way i hate this idea. I want to call shiva and ifrit and bauhamunt. Stop making your stupid lore effect my fun.

i would love to se ffxiv's version of a necromancer which is a summoner of sorts. would make a really col thm job given their lore.

God I would love to see Team Ivalice zodiacs/espers in this game. I love them way more than the originals.

Yes they had their 15mins of fame. But i wouldn't label them the traditional FF summons. Think that label belongs to summons that have been in various titles as a useable summon....IFRIT SHIVA LEVIATHAN et etc..

Also for my OP...they could use all the "lesser" summons such as mog and tonberry... how about jumbo cactar? Yojimbo? Cyclopes?.....

the ivalice zodiac summons would be interesting too.
