I actually dont want Uematsu to do all the music for XIV. When the game actually starts making revenue it would be nice if they can get different composers to expansions and stuff. I'd like them to consider Yuki Kajiura~

Oh, winning combination to make winning FFXIV:
Directors from FF3
Game designers from FF7
Nobuo Uematsu for music
FF8 cut-scene creators
Graphics designers from FFX (But still using this engine because it makes things look pretty, but OPTIMISED)
Win (b'.')b
Or Yoko Kanno. The music she wrote for Ragnarok Online 2 is excellent.
Or...dare I say it...Yasunori Mitsuda. Good luck with that, though. :)
But this brings up a good point. Wouldn't it be cool to have different composers with different musical styles to differentiate the expansion packs?

I'll always remember the first time I heard this tune <3
Heard the Miku version earlier this year and sat around for a couple of minutes thinking "I've heard that somewhere... and wherever it was I was having a great time whilst listening to it..." then it dawned on me it was from Ragnarok Online!
30 minutes later I was running around stabbing porings on good ol' Ragnarok again XD
Dammit I can't stop listening to this Ragnarok tune now! >.<
Such an addictively happy melody @.@
