Favourite City/Faction and why?

Limsa's got Pirates and Ninjas.

'nuff said.

Ul'dah, the Brass Blades/Monetarists. Because they are willing to do what needs to be done, not to mention Lolorito is a bamf.

It's even more amusing that you essentially START as an anti-pirate pirate as a Rogue before becoming a Ninja.

Gridania, not only because I started there.
Firstly the place looks much better than Uldah and Limsa. Secondly Uldah is full of greedy selfish Lalafels, not really place where I want to spend my time and I cannot even understand what Lominsians are saying.

Uldah. Its a craphole, its corrupt, its beautiful and only the determined survive. Its home.

I love the look of the Black Shroud and Gridania and that's why I started there. Yet, I can't call it my home because the people are overly polite, the city is ran by children and everything revolves around elementals. I chose Maelstrom as my faction because I like their leader and Lominsan culture the most. Also they have beach parties :D

Ul'dah is a corrupt, cesspool of treachery and greed.

I'm a Paladin.

I love Ul'dah like Batman loves Gotham.

Well, Gridania ain't all sunshine and roses, even apart from the xenophobia of the wildwood elezen. For example, there's some non-selectable NPCs just outside the conjurer's guild. They're a conjurer and a Gridanian family. Like a lot of those sort of NPCs, they have dialog bubbles that pop up when you get near them. That's when you find out that the conjurer is refusing to heal their dying daughter because that's the will of the elementals...

Maelstrom all day, every day. This is entirely based on the fact that I'm a total sucker for tropical and island settings, I never get tired of Costa Del Sol.

Maelstrom, plus we have the best gc armor in game so styling.
