If SE had a choice, and the DEV team was rocketing along, I would say September/21/2011
At the current rate of development, I would say Oct-Nov/2011
The funny thing is, I could bet a trillion gil because nobody is on my server to collect it

Rise of Zilart was a huge expansion one year after release.
One year at release, you would expect they could give people an ifrit battle.
I guess they are too busy oversimplifying the crafting system and subtracting pre-existing systems instead of just building on them.
It will come out by the 22nd.
I think it'll likely be delayed 1-2 weeks, but we'll see.
The current holiday event ends Sep 20th. I suspect the patch to land either on the 20th or on the 21st.
Please re-read developer letter X at http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...805-20-2011%29
It clearly stats that in the current/planned for before end of summer that only Design and Evaluation of Jobs will occur. And since those 2 facets of development we don't see in game, for all you know their word is kept.
Implementation for all job related things is in the future tasks column, meaning AFTER summer is done.
Ifrit also is 1.19 as many ppl have stated already, which is supposedly coming around the last few days of summer.
