SE help reduce allagan leather prices

Gil sellers don't typically flip items on the market board with their gil, though. They sell it for RL cash. It seems way more likely that it's a player with a large amount of gil trying to corner a market by reselling the leathers at a profit.

In any case, bots farming T4 doesn't seem very likely to me. Have you ever seen a tank bot in a dungeon? All they do is autoattack one mob at a time. They can't hold hate worth half a crap and they don't use defensive cooldowns; they just stand there and die. Outdated though the content may be, Dreadnaughts still hit friggin hard. They can one-shot anything other than a tank (and could probably even one-shot a poorly geared tank), so even if they have healers spam healing the tanks, all that ends in is two dead healers and the rest of the party soon following. Seriously, just farm some T4 yourself if you need the leathers. It's a 5 minute run at most.

Why should they pass? Zodiac relics take 80k seals. Lucis tools take 80k seals apiece as well.

Or maybe they're desynthing them too.

Because they did that with Sealants and the crafters who do Ixali control the prices of those with an iron fist. SE also had to do a rework of the system because people couldn't freely do the other beastmen quests if they wanted to farm for the sealants.

I feel like you're trolling. All this for one allagan leather that drops super easy. Just get your FC together with the tank that's trying so hard for this piece and do the run for him.

Why would you want gear to have a reduced turn in incentive? GC seals are super useful for Lucis in multiple ways. It's also useful for people leveling and ventures. You need tons of GC seals to fuel all that. Reducing it would only make the queues even longer.

Also, GC seals are awesome. I use them for a lot and I spend them a lot and gear turn ins are what I use to get them. I had to turn in practically all my old gear just to make enough seals for my Zodiac.

In my opinion, you should wait until T4 is a Bright for light farming. Whenever it is for our server, the people getting light spam it and then throw the materials up on the board. They aren't RMT and they aren't botting in any way that you would be able to notice. It's unreasonable to think that everyone selling allagan leathers is botting or RMT. It's just players controlling the market.

I can't understand why this is such a deal to you. Just farm it yourself or buy it from one of the players who already listed it.

Get your raid group to farm turn 4 for like an hour and you'll have all you need.
